Welcome to the Party!

Summertime doesn't really get rolling until you see campaigns in all the neighborhood parades.   Both Rondo Days and Rice Street parades had great examples of handshaking, lit-dropping, and colorful-oversized-sign waving.  Jay Benanav, the DFL-endorsed candidate for Mayor, is joined by three DFL-endorsed candidates for School Board: Toni Carter, John Brodrick, and Elona Street-Stewart.   If you are looking for some exercise (of both your body and your democracy) you can't do better than volunteering for a lit drop in your neighborhood.

Not that ambitious (or just like the air conditioning)?  How about making telephone calls for arranging volunteers, voter ID, or GOTV (get out the vote)?   Even if you aren't ready to get out and volunteer for a campaign, you can host a truly fashionable lawnsign.

Each candidate is participating in a dizzying number of events.   To keep track of them, we have linked directly to each of the campaign's websites.  Other events that we find out about will be posted on the Coordinated Campaign Calendar.   We'll see you out there.
