Narrowing the Field

The primary results are in. Every DFL-endorsed candidate has moved on to the general election on Tuesday, November 4. As one might expect, the hotly contested Council races in Wards 1 and 2 generated substantial turnout (measured against the other off-off-off year primaries). Turnout was down in the typically vote-rich Wards 3 and 4.

As we move to the general election, the importance of showing up on November 4 cannot be overstated. Even if you are in a ward without serious competition for the City Council, four DFL'ers are counting on your vote for the School Board. That body makes important decisions that affect the children of Saint Paul. Your vote will make sure that these decisions are thoughtful, inclusive, and in the students' best interests.

Just one visit to the polling place in November, that's all we ask.
